Event 6/13/26 - 1pm

Bells Across PA

Jefferson Memorial Cemetery & Funeral Home is honored to host one of the Liberty Bells from Bells Across PA, a statewide initiative marking America’s 250th birthday with replica bells on display in each of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties through 2026. The Jefferson bell, "Windows into History," represents our historic cemetery in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Designed by local artist Scott Saloney, the bell pays homage to the historical statuary, architecture and site's rich history, with imagery that mirrors the vibrant glass artwork found throughout our scenic grounds. Details: The bell will remain on display in the Jefferson Mausoleum starting Thursday, December 11, 2025, through December 31, 2026, at 401 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. The public is invited and encouraged to view the bell. Mausoleum hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Please be mindful and respectful of funeral services and those visiting a loved one at the cemetery when visiting.

Pittsburgh Grief Support Group

Growing through Grief - A Peer Support Group Have you experienced the death of a loved one? Looking for a way to talk through your feelings? No matter when your loss occurred, we are here to help you navigate through your grief and find healing through support. Join the Pittsburgh Grief Support Group every month. Drop in for any session you wish, all free of charge. Together with others, you can start the healing journey.  Location: Whitehall Public Library - Second Chapter Cafe 📍 Whitehall Public Library: 100 Borough Park Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 📅 Tuesday, June 9th 🕜 6-7 PM This event is free. No RSVP required. If you would like to provide your feedback on our grief support group, please take our short 4 question survey here: https://form.jotform.com/261235306793155 Find healing, share your story, and connect with others on the grief journey. 2026 Annual Car Show

Jefferson Memorial Cemetery & Funeral Home is hosting its 14th Annual Car Show on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Join us as we celebrate life in a unique way! All makes, models and years are welcome plus professional vehicles like ambulances, flower cars and hearses. Event Details: Entry and parking are free to all $15 registration fee to enter your car for judging Registration 11-1 PM Event concludes at 3 PM Dash plaques and keychains will be given to all participants (while supplies last) Trophies awarded to the winners of each category Arrival Instructions: 📢Currently, the main Cemetery entrance gate is temporarily closed due to lane shifts on Curry Hollow Road. Please enter the cemetery via our East cemetery entrance and follow the event parking signs. View the Entrance Map here. All proceeds raised will support a local charity. You may bring a non-perishable donation for the Cloverleaf Food Pantry including canned goods, toilet paper, socks, etc. Join us for food trucks, music and celebrating life, together. Pregnancy and Infant Loss Memorial Walk

We invite you to join us for a memorial walk and lantern lighting ceremony in honor of pregnancy and infant loss awareness on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 5-7:30 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Join us to support friends and family members who have experienced a loss for an evening of remembrance as we honor those who were carried for a moment and loved for a lifetime. We invite you to bring your family and friends to light up our memorial pond with lanterns filled with messages of love. Guests will enjoy fall crafts and refreshments leading up to the memorial walk which will begin at 6:30. All donations will directly benefit The Still Remembered Project. Please rsvp here.
