Pregnancy and Infant Loss Memorial Walk

We invite you to join us for a memorial walk and lantern lighting ceremony in honor of pregnancy and infant loss awareness on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 5-7:30 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.

Join us to support friends and family members who have experienced a loss for an evening of remembrance as we honor those who were carried for a moment and loved for a lifetime.

We invite you to bring your family and friends to light up our memorial pond with lanterns filled with messages of love.

Guests will enjoy fall crafts and refreshments leading up to the memorial walk which will begin at 6:30.

All donations will directly benefit The Still Remembered Project.

2026 Annual Memorial Day Ceremony

Celebrating Memorial Day is a time honored tradition at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery & Funeral Home. Join us on Monday, May 25, 2026, for our annual Memorial Day Ceremony in Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, PA. The annual program is free and open to the public. Memorial Day Weekend Activities 2026: We will hold flower bouquet sales starting Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25 (while supplies last) at the Cemetery Administration building. Our staff will also be available all weekend to assist the public with finding loved ones, handing out flags, on-demand service requests and to answer any questions you may have. Memorial Day Event Details: Ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. Veteran Section - Garden of Oak Knoll Invocation and taps Music by the Thomas Jefferson High School Choir Guest speakers to be announced soon Special Veteran’s Recognition Every veteran served by our cemetery or funeral home over the past 12 months will be recognized during the ceremony. If you would like to inquire if your veteran loved one is recognized this year, please call our office or email [email protected]. All proceeds raised support the Friends of the Pittsburgh Fisher House Standard Information: To our veteran families, the cemetery is unable to request flag standards ourselves on behalf of the veterans we honor on our grounds. The standards we have available are those collected after each prior year's event.
