William Lloyd Upton's Obituary
William "Bill" Upton, age 72, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on January 9, 2026.
Born on September 5, 1953, he was raised in Munhall and later attended Thiel College in Greenville, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree. Throughout his career, Bill dedicated himself to the field of sales, including as a long-time broker and director of business development with Green Apple Barter.
An avid health enthusiast, Bill loved tennis and cross country, participating in various sports throughout his life. He proudly completed the Pittsburgh Marathon twice.
Bill is survived by his mother, Jean Upton; his sister, Cathy Naja; his two nieces and a nephew; as well as nine great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Warren Upton.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 15th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 16th at 10 A.M. in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
