I worked with Sharon at the VA in Aspinwall on 2b. She was such a wonderful person. She loved her Pepsi and potato chips. Most of all she loved her Veterans she cared for. It was always a shower and a shave. She will be truly missed by everyone>
When I was a “new” nurse in 1976 at Mercy Hospital, Sharon was the 3-11 nursing assistant on the floor. Sharon made that difficult job much easier and I can’t imagine it without her. Her skills, her sense of humor, and her care of patients taught me how to be a better nurse. The stories from those days still make me laugh and I am sorry to hear about her passing. She was always a light in the room, and I’m sure will be missed by many. May she be at peace.. 🕊️
Sharon and I worked together at Mercy Hospital 50 years ago. I was a brand new RN and Sharon was a Nursing Assistant
On the 3-11 shift. Sharon and I would work together caring for a team of 23 surgical patients. Sharon was always happy and her laugh was infectious.
She would make those busy shifts bearable. Sharon also cared for my father at Manor Care many years later. Rest peacefully Sharon . Memory Eternal

Sharon and I met at Mercy Hospital in 1972. From that day our friendship began. Her wit and laughter was unbeatable and she really lit up a room. My mother and father adored her and many nights we would warm left overs from dinner after working 3/11 and talk and laugh till wee hours of the morning. We were there for each other in need to celebrate or comfort one another . She was the dearest and best friend anyone could ask for. I truly lost my best friend. May you be at peace and keep an eye on me down here. Love you with all my heart but I realize God knew best to come and comfort you.
