Born on January 12, 1979, Shannon's infectious smile and happy-go-lucky nature touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Shannon was the cherished daughter of Judy Holland and the late Henry Holland. She grew up surrounded by the love and support of her siblings, Kathy (Mike) Ellington, Michael Holland, Jason Holland, and Kelly Magill. Shannon's role as an aunt was one she held dear, showering her nieces Riley and Kayla Ellington, and her nephews Brian Holland, Frankie, and Tony Magill, with affection and joy.
Professionally, Shannon dedicated herself to the well-being of children as an aid at Matthews Bus Garage. Her gentle spirit and caring nature made her an invaluable part of the team, ensuring that every child felt safe and loved during their journeys to and from school. Shannon's commitment to her work was a testament to her generous heart and her desire to make a positive impact on the world.
Shannon's zest for life was evident in her many interests. She was a ray of sunshine, always seen with a smile on her face, even through challenging times. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 1 pm - 3 pm and 5 pm - 9 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 25 at 10 am in the funeral home's chapel.
