Judy, I have thought about Shannon so many times since our encounters in Jefferson Hospital. I remembered her in my daily prayers as promised. I am sorry, I missed the obituary until tonight. know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so very sorry for your loss. When I worked at the high school, my conversations with you and Shannon were the highlight of many of my days. My deepest sympathy to you and your family as Shannon, with her positive attitude, was truly a special lady!
My heart broke a little today…
I met Shannon & Judy when Shannon was a patient of mine. Seeing Shannon was the highlight of my day. That beautiful smile lit up my 8 hours at work. She had the most amazing soul, and I’m all the better having had her in a small portion of my day. She was sunshine on the cloudiest days. Judy, I so admire you. Your strength during those months was inspiring. I will remember you and your exceptional Shannon all my life. You both touched my heart, and will remain there. I’ve grown to know Shannon over the years as I always took care of her at the eye doctors. This saddens me when I heard the passing of such a wonderful young woman, always smiling so kind and was full of life. She will be missed by all.
So sorry to hear of Shannon passing. I didn’t know her very well, I just remembered seeing her coming to the National Guard base a few times when she was a little girl & meeting her at Henry’s funeral. Henry always talked about his youngest daughter his baby girl. I’m saddened but I know Henry & his baby girl are reunited again & everything is ok. God Bless both of their souls. There are no words to express the sorrow of Shannons loss. It was an honor to have know her. She was a sweet woman and will be greatly missed.
