My name is Helen Kvarta and I am married to John Kvarta. I had my husband flown up to Paramount because I was not happy with his care in Charlotte, NC. He has had a very bad stroke. Rita and he became friends and she graciously accepted me when I came to live with my husband. John and I are missing her terribly but I am sure she is happy to see her husband again. She loved all her kids!!!! Just want you all to know that, she loved you all!!!!!!! She is thought of all the time. If we can help you folks in anyway, please let us know.

My dearest Larry,
As I have been fighting cancer I came across your Mom's obituary.
I met her once. She was so very sweet and kind. She was very polite and friendly and in the few hours that we talked I grew to like her as a dear friend. We talked so easily about the Pope, sports of all things, and much more. She even invited me to return. Having been raised Catholic I said the rosary in her name.
I put myself through a Christian university and am now a Baptist. Regardless, I know that your mom was a blessing on this earth and that she went straight home into the arms of our Lord.
I remember going to your Dad's graveside and pulling the weeds around it many times. Do you remember the man who was playing the bagpipes for someone and I asked to him to play for your Dad?
What a blessing it is to know that your parents are together once again.
God bless you, Larry. Remember all of the fond memories of your Mom. They will soon outweigh your sadness.
