We will miss you so much Ray our dearest friend 🧡. We have almost 50 years of special memories. Ray, his lovely wife Barb, Dan and Kathy enjoyed doing everything together. We especially remember a wonderful vacation. We stayed at a beautiful brand new beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We walked on the boardwalk and the beach enjoying sunshine 🌞 and each other's company. We visited different restaurants, spent time at a local VFW enjoying drinks and playing shuffleboard and went out on the dock to see the sunset and enjoy being together ❤️. We went to a local casino to gamble, I can't remember if any of us were lucky. I could truly write a book on our experiences ❤️. I'll end this by saying our lives were connected in many ways. WE LOVE YOU RAYMOND SWICK AND WE WILL FOREVER MISS YOU. Dan and Kathy Diethorn.
When Jerret and I came up to train so we could start the Alabama shop, Ray looked at us with that big smile and cigar in his mouth and said, “Boys, if Jr ever opens that wallet, grab everything you can before he closes it backup!” And let out his big laugh!! Then everytime I came back up, he was always asking how we were doing. Not in a fake way, you knew he honestly cared about you when he talked with you. And if you didn’t have the same care about the work you did, he would swat his arms at you and say, aahh, and walk off. At least that was my take. He pushed me to do better every time I was around him! God bless brother.
