Patricia Ann Weber (Lohr)'s Obituary
Of Bruceton Mills, on September 8, 2016, age 74. Patricia is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 54 years, Barry E. Weber; daughters, Jodi Ann Shell and Stacie Leigh Weber; grandchildren, Shea, Sophia, and Levi Shell; as well as nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Wilma Lohr; and brother, Harry Jr.
Pat and Barry began their sweetheart adventure at West Liberty State College in the early 1960's, married, and started their loving family. She was an outstanding artist, and found her calling as a dedicated art teacher in several different districts throughout West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and Maryland. Her motto was "it's not your IQ, it's your 'I Can'," which she faithfully instilled in her students. She was the recipient of Copper Sun Faces, made by her students, that appeared on CBS Sunday Mornings with Charles Kuralt and sent her students animal drawings to the juice company, Frava, receiving t-shirts as recognition. She loved to travel with her husband, visiting Florida, Colorado, California, Texas, Canada, and England, where she treasured touring the local schools.
