I agree with Dad and you 100%, in this quote \"it is not the IQ it is the I can\". Parents should not mark their children with a stigma. Parents are to love and teach their children. The stigma's today are not allowed in the Bible. Stigma's ADD & ADHD, giving pills to a child, God said NO.
I as a Christian foresee no good coming from this. If the parent did not have a substance abuse problem, committed adulatory, or fought in front of their children because of these two things, the child would not want to run away. The child has focus and it is running away from the parents matters. Parents need to make the right choices, provide a beautiful life for their child. God puts BEAUTIFUL STOP SIGNS in our life to stop the ADULT from making mistakes. Adults do not see these BEAUTIFUL STOP SIGNS. Children are the most BEAUTIFUL STOP SIGN an adult should see. It takes TWO PARENTS GENES to create a life a child. Adults need to read about ADD & ADHA and learn the anatomy.
It is not the Childs fault. RAISE YOUR BEATIFUL CHILDREN.
