Pat was my Florida friend and neighbor. I truly loved her while she lived there. We could talk for hours about anything. She and Mort were the kindest people. I always felt she looked at me as her youngest son who went to heaven. She taught me how to plant a garden, and finally, I had a gardenia bush that bloomed. She loved growing Orchids. She so loved her family. I never met any of them, but she made sure I knew who each of them was, and the grandchildren were the apple in her eyes. I forgot what she called an egg fried within a bread hole. Her grandkids loved it.
I was influential in getting her to adopt a cat. We shared the same birthday. I forever love you, Pat. I will miss you. Have fun with Mort and drink Tropicana orange juice. No more diabetes.
