My sympathy to Nyra’s family. I knew her at IUP where we were sorority sisters of A Di Pi. We were also roommates for a semester. Nyra was a very sweet and kind person. I am keeping all of you in my prayers.
So sorry to hear about Nyra. I taught Home Ec. with her many years ago at Steel Valley. She was very kind and a great teacher. We were all so young. Joanne (Long) van Linden
Our deepest sympathy for your loss of Nyra. Do know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and family.
I’ve just recently connected with Nyra after 50 years. I found out she lived in Plano which is nearby my location. We talked and texted trying to arrange a lunch date. Unfortunately, something always got in the way . I had a cancer surgery in January of this year and she was very helpful and encouraging. She adored her husband and children and I could feel her smile when she spoke of them. To all her family and friends please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of this very lovely person.
A lovely lady and a member of a Great Family. The entire Family is in our Prayers.
