In memory of of you father. You and your family are in our thoughts as you navigate through this very difficult time. With heartfelt sympathy,
Being somewhat newcomers to the neighborhood on Fidelity drive in 1975 my family quickly learned who the \"cool\" neighbors were on the street. They all hung out at the corner of Glenburn and Fidelity. The Gentille's, The Yimon's, The Barry's, and The Minoski's to say the least--were the epitome of cool back then. And it was for one reason--the parents were cool! Mr. Minoski was one of those parents. He was a terrific mentor and teacher to his children, (and any other child on Fidelity). He was always there to lend a hand or advice to any neighborhood project. He supported many of our school fundraisers including the Christmas tree bulbs, Easter candy, and anything else the neighborhood kids were peddling during the school year. And, as mentioned by others, he greatly supported his children and their activities. He was certainly a cornerstone of his family and of our neighborhood \"family.\" The Falcione family will always remember our time living on Fidelity drive. It was short, but it was a time of great influence in our lives. Besides the cool music, long hair, cars, and polyester shirts that we were modeled from the older kids of those families. We were exposed to a type of family unity--amongst friends, that occurred at that end of the street. It was something that impressed us, stayed with us--and continues to remind us of its importance every day of our lives. Mr. Minoski was one of those parents who very much modeled and encouraged that unity. For that, we will always be grateful. Eric Falcione
Thoughts and prayers go out for the entire Minoski family.
