My sincerest sympathies. Mark was one of the nicest guys I knew at Bettis. We were casual associates but I was always impressed with his kind demeanor and ready smile. May your grief be comforted by his memory.

It's just now, 5 months after Mark's passing, that I can actually sit down and read all of the beautiful comments about him. Thank you all SO VERY MUCH for your kind words, prayers, beautiful plants (which I enjoyed at home...since I took them all), and the trees. Mark did SO MUCH wood work...he would appreciate the fact that the wood was being replenished after his passing. It gives us all great peace knowing what wonderful friends and family we have. Mark wanted to go quickly...he ALWAYS said that. Even though it was difficult for those of us left behind, and shocking to say the least, It gives us great comfort knowing that he is at peace with the Lord. May God grant each and every one of you comfort also.
Nancy, Lisa and Stacie: I was saddened to hear of Mark's sudden passing. His loss is painful, but I'm confident that God will nourish your souls and give you peace. He's already given His peace to Mark. May his memory be Eternal. Teresa Sekel
I was very saddened to hear of Mark's recent passing. I am among many from the Knolls lab in Schenectady who worked with Mark on the same project. Mark was always a pleasure to work with and I learned much from him over the years. His technical acumen and quality work have yielded results that will benefit our sailors and our country for many years into the future. I extend my condolences and prayers to Mark's family and friends during this time of loss.
Carla and I send our deepest sympathies. You will be in our prayers. Mark always talked of how much he loved family and how proud he was of you all. At work and later on the street while walking; it was always a joy to talk and spend time with Mark. Carla and Dent Holden
