Lynne Anne Waldron Fahnestock's Obituary
Lynne Anne (Waldron) Fahnestock, 69, died peacefully in her sleep on August 14, 2024, when she was called home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Lynne was born May 13, 1955, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late John F. Waldron and Janet (Curran) Waldron.
Lynne loved her Lord and family above all things. After graduation from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, she was married, taught school, raised a family and pursued a faith-based life offering unconditional love, friendship, guidance and laughter to everyone she met. Her love of art, language, teaching, Jesus and all things Ireland will forever be associated with her.
Lynne is pre-deceased by her youngest son, Noah and survived by her daughter Jenna (Josh), son Zachary (Michelle), brother Ken (Annette), numerous nephews, nieces as well as 3 grandchildren; Breeze Ireland Boulware, Brave Shepherd Boulware and Oaklynn Leigh Fahnestock
Lynne was loved enormously by family and friends. Her life, art, faith and storytelling will be celebrated by all for years to come. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Sun Coast Hospice, Mid-Pinellas Florida.
A funeral for Lynne will be held Friday, August 30, 2024, beginning 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
