Lynne blessed our hearts with her life, her laughter, and her love. She will forever live in our hearts.
Birth date: May 13, 1955 Death date: Aug 14, 2024
Lynne Anne (Waldron) Fahnestock, 69, died peacefully in her sleep on August 14, 2024, when she was called home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Lynne was born May 13, 1955, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late John F. Wald Read Obituary
Lynne blessed our hearts with her life, her laughter, and her love. She will forever live in our hearts.
Lynne Ann Waldron forced her way into my life. At 23, I was a horribly broken, orphaned drug addict.
Walled off from the world and most people, She and I worked at the same restaurant. Lynne Anne saw something in me that I could not see in myself. And she refused to let me be.
She came after me and after me and eventually kicked down the wall and came in to my life. Only and only wanting to be my sister in Christ. That’s it,
She talked of Christ and his love for us. I wanted nothing to do with it. But eventually, after months and months and months and months of Christian council, she convinced me to go to a very special service in Castle, Shannon, PA, where the minister took a lightning quick interest in me for reasons only God knows.
As soon as he closed, he came straight up to us and engaged us and asked us if we would come back the next week.
He is the one that finally brought me to Jesus Christ and my life has never been the same.
Also because of Lynne
An impending catastrophic back surgery would have left me crippled, I am convinced it, but Lynne finally convinced me to see her chiropractor
I was terrified. But eventually, I trusted her and trusted him, and he saved me from that surgery and changed my life, and I became a chiropractor as result; Offering my family, a standard of living that I could not have ever imagined while helping thousands and thousands of people back to health…. All because of Lynne. Truly one of Gods children.
I have so missed and will continue to miss my friend.
I met Lynne at church and we had an instant connection. Our kids also went to the same school; St. Luke's Lutheran in Oviedo. Every Christmas for many years, Lynne was our Lead Angel in the live nativity program we hold for the community. She was certainly in the right role! We had a few years when she couldn't do the role and it wasn't the same without her! She got stronger and was on the rebound when she asked me if she could fill the role again. Without hesitation, I moved people around and she was glowing, even without the lighting being cast her way. When Lynne knew she wasn't going to be able to fulfill the role any longer, we had a long phone conversation and remember her saying \"God needs me to rest and I don't want to\". That was just like Lynne, tho, always thinking about others before herself. I'm thankful our paths crossed, a friendship grew and a Lead Angel she'll forever be!

With deepest sympathy, our thoughts and prayers are with you!
One of my earliest and favorite memories of cousin Lynne was when I was visiting Lesnett Road. I would watch Lynne get ready for a date. She was in high school and I was just a squirt. We would spend hours in the hall bathroom trying on make up & fixing our hair ! She was better to me than a big sister, always loving, kind & so much fun!! Then when she got back from the date which was pretty late, she would make us fried baloney & cheese sandwiches with pickles!! I will really miss our long phone conversations & texts about our Moms- the Curran girls, Jesus, scripture, recipes, decorating, Ireland & our kids!! But I will see her again one day!

\"Lynne Anne Waldron Fahnestock\" will remain in our hearts forever.
We will remember all the wonderful memories of cousin Lynne! Love, Patrick , Janet Lee & Jack
In the late 1960’s, when I was 9 and Lynne was 13, our family could finally afford an annual Florida vacation. Driving to Florida from Pgh in dad’s four-door Chevy sedan for 20+ hours over the course of two days was an adventure. I sat in the front seat between mom and dad; “close to the action on the road.” Lynne set-up what appeared to be a small apartment in the back seat that housed all manor of fashion magazines, books, pillows, blankets, drinks, snacks and outfits for any occasion. I didn’t pretend to understand it but I was just a 9 year-old kid with a baseball glove. Dad with his Rand McNally spread across the dashboard and mom always at the ready with pre-made snacks and drinks, we were road-ready! Somehow, dad seemed to know where every Stuckeys Restaurant & Gas Combo spot was located on the endless Interstate 95. And he was smart enough to give everyone a 15 minute “heads-up” before we made our next Stuckey’s pit stop. I used to marvel at the sudden surge of activity in the backseat during those 15 minutes prior to our Stuckey’s arrival. Not sure of exactly what was going on, I did notice various activities that included things like hair brushes, suit case zipper noises, wash cloths, make-up cases and more. Mom always seemed to get my attention for at least 10 of those 15 minutes with some story about a family member, sporting event or, “hey, let’s count the Chevrolets!” Inevitably, we would arrive at the Stuckeys parking lot. I would scramble out of the car thinking, “milkshake” and then, Shazam! Who is this movie star emerging from the back seat of dad’s Chevy? And where is Lynne? The rest, as they say, is history. My dear sister was and forever will be, one of a kind! Beyond compare. 💪🍀💚 KRW
I will always feel your love Mom. We will love you forever & always until we see each other again.
May Lynn rest in peace in Jesus' loving arms.
