So sorry to hear of her loss, she seemed like a sweet girl ♥
Lara was a very strong willed, highly intelligent person that determined the direction of her life with very little input from her parents, but instead with the love of her very many friends. She had three gifts, identified in first grade as art, animals and language and the most prominent of these, language, enabled her to befriend and counsel people throughout her life. She loved wonderful individuals who were service providers, graduate students in research, finance professionals, creative people, animal parents, and street people who were unique in their approach to life. She befriended them, advised them, and gave thoughtful gifts and gratuities to them that would not occur to others to provide. (Her two best friends were Raeven, a professor of research in Wisconsin, and Andraya, a tax accountant for Price Waterhouse in Pittsburgh.) Her colleague Alex Gordon described her: “She was tough and kind, fierce and forgiving, powerful and protective… an iconic human being “.
She ultimately found Key West to have the ambiance for which she had searched. Her fiancé, Jeremy, would support her decision to move there. They built strong friendships and were developing ways to move forward in a location that was paradise in many ways but had an increasingly hectic pace. She was appreciated by many there, like in Pittsburgh, for her gifts and her friendship.
Lara was blessed in her life by the love for many people and their love for her.
Lara was an amazing person. I am blessed to have known her and shared so many years together as friends, some of the best memories of my life. She was a free spirit and an incredibly talented artist. She wasn’t afraid of anything. Her style was impeccable, her taste in music and art unmatched. She could quote movie quips like no other. Her laugh was the best - I can still hear it. And we shared so many laughs. But beyond that, she was a true friend. She was always there for me. I love her. Her loss is immeasurable and beyond words. May her memory live on and may her family and loved ones be comforted in this time of grief. Shine bright forever beautiful Lara. You will never be far from my thoughts. Until we meet again. 💔🌹✨
You are and will always be loved. 💚

Lara, you have left us with a huge hole in our hearts. To my son, your grief is intense as you had found your true love in this life. Many will never be as fortunate as you. We love you, Lara, with all of our hearts. My condolences go out to the Borasso family.
