Karen D. Olack's Obituary
Karen Olack, 78 of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away to her new state of peace on May 12, 2024. She was born in Pittsburgh on May 26, 1945 to the late James and Mary Todd.
Karen is survived by her son John Raymond Olack, III (Ryan Haught); grandchildren Kenadie Saige Matta and Jake Christopher Matta; and Son-in-Law Christopher Anthony Matta.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Raymond Olack II; daughter Sharie May Matta; parents James and Mary Todd and sister Claudette Seger.
Karen was a graduate of Carrick High School and Robert Morris University. She worked at Carnegie Mellon University for 27 years.
Karen loved knitting and teaching her grandkids how to do the activities she so greatly enjoyed. Her baking and cooking will be missed by all, but out of all of her accomplishments in life, creating and raising her family was the greatest. Karen will be missed greatly for her spirit and dedication that she has shared with all of her loved ones.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236.
A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, May 19th at 12pm.
Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park
