I remember Junie as next door good neighbor on Cherry Street in Coverdale. We were like family than neighbors. My Dad was a substitute father to her after her Dad was killed in Coverdale Coal Mine by Rib failure. We had many picnics in adjacent yard with making rigatonis , my Mom making cherry pies and other neighbors marking their family ethic dishes while dancing a square dance with my uncle playing the guitar. Junie would trill her circular baton, while brother Frankie would play the hand organ on summer day. Her brother would play the drums and my brother George would play the electric guitar in their basement as past of Rock-n-Roll band in the 1960's. Junie and her brother Johnny would come over to our house for Christmas EVE festivities and her brother Johnny would dance to Elvis Presley music on stereo and eat my Mom's Christmas Cookies. Junie and her boy attended St. David's Episcopal church with my family One regret my father has is that my Dad movie camera fail to film Junie and Paul's wedding! Everyone loved Junie including everyone my family and sister was like substitute sister! We love you Junie and you are in a better place in Heaven free of pain with your Mom, Catherine and Dad, Frank! Love and Deepest Sympathy to your Family! Timmy Barton m
