I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Linda, their children Dave, Kate and the entire Small family. John was a dear friend and neighbor. He was a caring person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. I have many great memories of John and all of the wonderful times spent with him and Linda. I am certain he touched many lives and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
I will always remember John as firm yet thoughtful. stoic but reasonable and fair. I have many fond memories of him and he was always there if you needed some advice or a helping hand. His reserved demeanor belied the fact that he was one of the nicest people I have ever known, which he showed when he trusted and respected you. He will be missed but mostly he should be appreciated for his good nature. God Bless.
I dearly loved John and always made sure I went to the concerts at Crafton Park when \"Big Band Memories\" played there in the summertime. It was great to reconnect with him in later years.
