Joanne Danko's Obituary
Joanne Danko, age 67, of Whitehall Borough, formerly from Baldwin Borough, was called to heaven by the Angels on June 3, 2023.
Joanne is survived by her loving husband Richard, who cared for her throughout her years of dementia.
She leaves her sons, Jesse (Ashley) and Frank who helped take care of her each and every day. Joanne had a deep love of family, especially her grandchildren Sophia and Dean. She is survived by her stepchildren, Sherri (Jon), Gary (Sarah) and Brad (Samantha); her mother Anna Mull; her brother, James (Barb) Mull; twin brother, Joe and sister, Patty Tursack.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Mull and her brother, Richard Mull.
Joanne’s artistic abilities led her to create beautiful crafts such as wreathes, flower arrangements and most recently painting rocks that were sold at various craft shows or given to friends and neighbors.
Joanne’s family expresses deep appreciation to the Allegheny Health Network, HealthCare@Home, hospice team who were amazing in her care.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, June 8th from 2-7 P.M. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Blessing Service will be held immediately following visitation at 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
