Joanne Danko, age 67, of Whitehall Borough, formerly from Baldwin Borough, was called to heaven by the Angels on June 3, 2023. Joanne is survived by her loving husband Richard, who cared for her throughout her years of dementia. Read Obituary
So very sorry to learn of Joanne's passing, it's also sad to find that she had dementia. I lost touch with her and Joe , I found out on the internet just today, April 22, 2024. Her family has my deepest sympathy.

We were so sad to hear of Joanne's death. My sister Betty sent us an email with the news, and Sue called from Montana when she heard. Sue said that she spoke with Joanne at Dad's viewing in 2018, and I'm sorry that I didn't see her then. I did ask Jim how Joanne was in 2022 at my sister Joan's viewing. In the photo above Joanne looks so much like her Mum.

I was Joanne's sister in law and close friend for many years. We lost touch due to my divorce from her brother but I'll never forget the good times and many laughs we shared. A lot off card games, attempted dance lessons and so many birthday parties. She was special and I loved her.
Rich, we are so sorry for the loss of Joanne. We can’t make it to the funeral but please know you are in our prayers. Every time we walk the street and see all the stones with flowers we will think of her, including the one she did for us. Mary Kay and Bob Macurak.
