I’d like to thank Uncle Jerry, Aunt Bee, and Amy for their extreme love and kindness when I lost Mark and during his illness. I have the highest regard and deep gratitude for you all. Uncle Jerry was always so kind to me. I loved his wit and hearing his stories and his great sense of humor. What a great man!
To Aunt Bee and the kids, I’m so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful man. He will be missed, but he’s free of pain now. Claire, Jack, Mark and the others are rejoicing in Heaven for his return to them. I hope you all find solace in knowing that we will all be rejoined again one day in Heaven. Please accept my deepest condolences. I love you all. Godspeed Uncle Jerry. Love you. ❤️
Uncle jerry was a wonderful person. When he asked "how ya doin" It wasnt just something to say, He truly wanted to know about what was going on in your life he kept .On one of my first golf trips as a kid he kept giving me gimmies on the putts. I thought i had a good score then someone told me gimmies still count as a stroke.
I have nothing but the warmest memories of Mr. Teitz. He was a genuinely kind man who always just made you feel better when you in his presence. He exuded positivity and good will. I seriously (hard to believe, but true) was thinking of him about an hour before I heard the news of his passing.
I remember him bringing fresh-made popcorn down to the basement when we were drinking and watching sports. He would show up at softball games. He took me to my first Steelers games. Anytime I would think of him, I couldn't help but smile. And ALWAYS, he and Bee made me feel so welcome anytime I was at his house.
My condolences to the entire Teitz family, especially Bee, another gem of a human being of whom I hold the fondest memories.
To Bee, Tommy and family....Jerry was one of a kind guy. We had so much fun on golf trips (especially our annual August Conneaut Lake Park Course long weekend) and Beechview Golf League. My deepest condolences to you all.
I will see you in heaven Jerry, for that I am certain. The picture below (circa early 1990's) is a classic golf trip memory.
I thank the Lord that Jerry survived a heart attack in 1989 two days after attending our May 6th wedding! He will be missed by all that loved him and his presence was always heartfelt.

I always loved and admired Jerry. It was impossible to feel any other way. He was genuine warmth and goodwill to the bone. It's been almost 30 years since I last saw Jerry, but he still makes me smile.
