Guadalupe (Lupe) Morales Lasser, 93
Guadalupe (Lupe) Morales Lasser, age 93, formerly of Whitaker, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2022.
Lupe is the daughter of the late Eduardo & Herlinda (Garcia) Morales. She was born and raised in Laredo, TX where she met and married her late husband Gus (Apples) Lasser Sr. who was in the USAF. After Apples retired from the Air Force they settled in his hometown of Whitaker, PA with their young son Gus Jr.
Lupe worked at Hill's Department Store for more than 25 years. She was very devout in her catholic faith and would help anyone in need.
She loved sitting in the sunshine, taking care of the flowers and visits with her grand puppies Tucker and Lily.
Proceeded in death by beloved parents, Eduardo and Herlinda, her loving husband Gus and her siblings Roman (the late Lucy) Morales, Josepha Morales, Minerva Sanchez, Alfredo Gonzalez Jr. all of TX and special friend Michael Nesky of Whitaker.
Also her late in-laws Clara Lasser, Peg (Bill) Stoebe, Theresa (Ed) Stoebe, Deloris (Bill) Pozi, Henry (Jean) Lasser.
She is survived by her devoted son Gus and most favorite daughter-in-law Tina. Also a step great-grandson Brayden Kollar.
Very special sister-in-law Tencha (the late Alfredo) Gonzalez of TX, sister Mary Alice (Tony) Valdez of CA, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kane Community Living Center Glen Hazel for all the love, care and attention they have provided Lupe of the last 4 1/2 years.
There will be no visitation and interment will be private.
