A true legend in every sense, my Grandpa Fulton lived his life with passion and purpose. His love for golf was only surpassed by his love for family. Though many would have thought it time to hang up the clubs, Grandpa had other plans. At 98 years old, my Grandpa and I played our last round of golf together at Frosty Valley Golf Course. I was shocked when he rented a golf cart because my Grandpa always walked the course. Later, I learned from the staff that he didn’t want his granddaughter to have to walk the course. That was the essence of Grandpa—always thinking of others, always putting family first.
Whether it was on the golf course, around the dinner table playing Chase the Ace, at Mom and Ron's playing Corn Hole, or at Aunt Rhonnie and Uncle Bills playing Croquet, Grandpa brought the game on and won 99 percent of the time with class, humility and joy. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend whose legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
