\"FREEDOM ISN'T FREE...\" Thank you for your Honorable Service, Floyd, from a very grateful family and Nation! SALUTE!
Floyd Cassinelli was quite a hero at Thomas Jefferson High...Some called him, Floyd, some called him, Floydy, some called him Flugie, but all called him wonderful! For our Cousin, Eternal Rest Grant to him, Oh Lord, and May Your Perpetual Light always shine upon him...Thank you, Floyd, for being YOU!
Thanks to the caregivers who assisted my cousin during his illness and his final days. Condolences also to Nancy's stepchildren.

My condolences to all of the remaining Cassinelli and Rothbauer families and extended families and friends. Blessings to all who have passed and to all of us who remain. Love you all.

Nancy and Floyd, our beloved Cousins...My Dad and their Dad were first Cousins on the Mattachione side. I got to know him better when our families began the Leonardo Da Vinci Lodge, and I believe all of Clairton and all families of Clairton and hills of Jefferson were members. When starting our car, it automatically set out for River Road. When seeing our beloved Cousins over on Cassinelli Hill...whether visiting Val and Anna, Flo and Kate, Frau and Narsie, Lou and Mary, and \"Noonie,\" Young Nancy, Roslyn, Floyd, Lou, Jr., and Colette...always together...the coolest Cousins on the planet...we always broke bread, good bread! Oh I know there has to be a Rothbauer and Cassinelli Wing in Heaven...and each and every one, every Rothbauer, Muttachione, led by Blessed Father Gerardo...were on each and every stair of Heaven welcoming with bouquets of love...Beloved Flugie!
Floyd was only 9 yrs old when I moved out of state so my memories of him growing up are few but I remembe how he loved and enjoyed life as a little boy and an adult person. When my husband and I came back to PA for a visit with family and we would stop by to see Aunt Kate, Nancy and him, he would say, \"come on down Marlene and taste this wine. It's the BEST [dago red] I've made yet\". You had to love him! He was a free spirit.
