Emery was a very kind hearted person. I loved conversing with him whenever we converged on the Lang household for Sunday dinners and Holidays. We'd spend hours talking about many subjects and he always made me laugh. I enjoyed the days he played pinochle with the family. I learned a lot of game strategy through him. He was a great brother-in-law and treated me as his brother.

One of his famous quotes, “It was nice of me to talk to you!” lol He was so funny! Always lots of stories! Never a dull moment growing up with four brothers and one sister! Later on playing pinochle in teams was lots of fun on aso many Sundays thru the years, at our mom & dad’s house! So many memories!
