Edward Kenneth Wietholder's Obituary
Ed Kenneth Wietholder, 58, of South Park, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife and highschool sweetheart of 34 years, Julie (DuScheid) Wietholder. BADASS father of Jake (fiancée Lani) Wietholder and Josh (Lexie) Wietholder. Brother-in-law of Steve (Denise) DuScheid and Jenn (Jerry) Concannon; Dear Friend of Joyce and Scott Winkler. Uncle of Henry, Calvin, Ella, Aiden, Christopher (Brice), and Anthony (Nikki). Cherished son-in-law of Bob and Paula DuScheid.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Patricia Wietholder.
Ed was a dedicated, loving father and husband. Never missing an opportunity to express words of affirmation, he frequently celebrated those he loved with a toast for any occasion. As a self-taught business owner, he not only became a respected personal trainer, but also a master motivator. His family, friends and clients adored him, both for his expertise, and his unyielding belief in their ability to achieve greatness. Regardless of the setting - a workout session or a casual conversation - Ed had a way of being fully present in every interaction, leaving everyone feeling as though they were the most important person in his world. As Ed stated when he first found out about his diagnosis, "I love my life, and wouldn't change a thing." May his perseverance and work ethic continue to serve as an inspiration to all who knew him.
