Edward's commitment to his students extended beyond the classroom as he took on the role of a coach. For 49 years, he was the esteemed track and field coach at Baldwin High School, where he also coached football and wrestling. His leadership on the field was as impactful as his teaching, fostering discipline, teamwork, and excellence in young athletes.
