It was such a blessing to have known Doris since our grade school days at Transfiguration Ukrainian School in Shamokin, PA. (We were raised in the same neighborhood, and our parents were close friends.)
When Doris and her family came to the “homestead” on Shamokin Street, they would spend a day at Knoebels Park. We had a wonderful reunion there a few years ago, and I will treasure those memories…as Doris enjoyed the Park so much!!

In Loving Memory of Doris

For the past eight years, Doris was more than just a neighbor — she was a kind and generous presence in our lives. Always thoughtful, she often reminded me that if I ever needed anything, she was just a door away. Her kindness wasn’t just in her words, but in the way she made people feel seen and cared for.

My daughters especially looked forward to Halloween, not just for the treats, but for the chance to visit and talk with Doris. She had a special way of making those moments feel magical.

Doris will be deeply missed, not only for her warmth and compassion, but for the gentle spirit she shared with everyone around her. We are grateful to have known her, and her memory will continue to live on in our hearts.

My deepest sympathies to Doris’s family. I met Doris when she came to work at Prudential/Berkshire Hathaway in our Caste Village office as a Realtor. She was part of a very special group of co-workers. Her memory is such a blessing.
