Deborah Kay Forrest's Obituary
Deborah "Debby" Kay Forrest (68) of Liberty Boro, PA died peacefully at Jefferson Hospital May 30, 2025.
Debby's gentle and creative nature shone bright in every aspect of her life. From her love of babysitting her grandchildren, playing with her beloved animal companions, and her devotion to caring for her mother later in life and her long-term care of stepson, Bobby. She loved expressing herself through crafts and baking. She was also a successful entrepreneur, recently retiring from her own business "Deb's Oasis" where she used her skills as a gifted intuitive massage therapist to improve the lives of others. Her wonderful smile will be missed by all who knew her.
Debby is survived by her children; Angela Wiech and Eric (Kaitlin) Wiech; her beloved grandchildren, Nathaniel (Laura McGinnis), Sydney Stetz, Liam and Adeline Wiech; stepson Brian Forrest (Wendy) and their children Brianne and Alex; her sister Colleen Dougherty of Freedom PA and lifelong friend Cindy Chiaverini.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years Robert J. Forrest; parents Kathleen and Robert Carlson and stepson, Bobby Forrest.
The last years of Debby's life were challenging due to a progressive neurological disease, PSP; however, she was cared for by her nephew, Jeffrey R. Kalo and they developed a special bond.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Friday June 6, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Blessing Service will be held on Monday June 9th at 10am in the funeral home chapel.
