One year ago yesterday you left earth to begin your new journey to be with the Lord. You lived by the word of the scriptures and I know you're looking down. Not only are you looking down , but you're with us every day. We miss you and we hope you SEE and witness what is happening. We miss and truly love you as well always did.
My parents were very good friends with Connie. I have known her since I was very young. My parents have been gone for many years and they are reunited now.
A lot of great memories growing up. Our paths would cross every once in a while and she always looked great. She was a role model for me as being such a strong woman. Blessed to have known her.

Dearest Connie,
If it wasn't for you and our friendship I would've never had met your brother and fell in love. You had the biggest heart and cared for your family deeply. We have many cherished memories of holidays and family dinners together. Your brother and you share the \"wink\". He was so happy to see you just on your birthday. You have no idea how special that was. He loved you!
Connie was my mother-in-law for 36 years and we always loved each other and the last few years we became closer. So many things I will miss...her devilish wink and smile, her delicious food and her creative gifts, I will never forget seeing Something About Mary and The Full Monty movies with her and laughing until we cried.
I loved the way she called Jim, Craig and the girls (granddaughters) \"her pride and joy\" and how her face truly lit up when she saw them. Just a beam of love and happiness when she was around them. I will miss seeing her and Z together. He was the love of her life and she cared for him on all levels.
Finally, I will never forget her last July and how she beat everyone at corn hole.

Heavenly Father thank you for the beautiful gift of Connie's life and the all the wonderful years you have given us with her. She had a loving faithful spirit that we will all miss. We lift her up, in honor of the good we saw in her and the love we felt from her.
God please give us the strength to send her home in Your care, in the knowledge of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

I told mom the day before she went to be with our Lord, surely one of her great life achievements was planting the seeds leading myself and my brother Craig to our Savior Jesus Christ. So glad her suffering has ended and she has a new body and life in His kingdom!
