Clarence Raymond Adams Jr.'s Obituary
Clarence Raymond Adams, Jr. (Butch), age 73, of South Park, formerly of Sharpsburg, passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 9, 2021.
Clarence is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Sharon; children, Carrie Adams, Courtney (Mark) Stephani, and Colleen (Ryan) Terry; grandchildren, Lauren Terry, Nathan Terry, Gino Oliveira, and Erin Stephani; nieces, Roxann (Frank) Hartmann and JoAnn (Stuart) Foster; brother-in-law, Edward (Lynn) Rucinski; as well as many loving friends.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Raymond Sr. and Francis Adams, and his sister, Ellarose Kuchta.
Butch was a senior English teacher in the Steel Valley School District for 37 years. He loved to coach his TJ girls softball team to success. An avid Pitt fan, he attended all football and basketball games as a distinguished alumni and patron. For many years, he was a PIAA wrestling referee as well as a Daily News League baseball umpire in McKeesport. He was a member of the Sig Tau Fraternity at Slippery Rock University. He was the soulmate of Sharon, loving father to his 3 girls and proud grandfather of 4.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A brief service will be held following visitation in the Funeral Home's chapel.
The family requests that guests wear a mask during their visit.
