Carol Hostert was a truly wonderful lady who honored us with her awesome smile and sense of humor. whether it was coming out to our place in Ohio for our annual pig roasts, baptisms, graduations, or holiday celebrations, she was always such a joy to have! She was the Auntie to my beautiful wife, Tricia Duffy. Our children considered them their extended grandparents as they were always present at many celebrations. Her husband, my very good friend, Richard “The Dickster” Hostert; was like a second father figure to me. He always admired the work I had completed around the house and I was honored to get his approval and the occasional criticism. The two together made up a small weave in the fabric of our family blanket. For this, I am eternally thankful and grateful for having known Carol, her husband, and the Hostert family. Rest well and enjoy your eternal peace.
