Carl W. Brown, Jr.'s Obituary
Carl W. Brown, Jr., age 66, of Finleyville, born and raised on the South Side of Pittsburgh, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 5, 2022.
Carl is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, JoAnn M. Brown; daughter, Stacey (Joseph) Salzmann; granddaughter, Aliyah (Leebee) Rotharmel; sisters, Kathy (Keith) Folz, Johanna Brown, Jean Spear and Alberta Nyga; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth Brown, Sr., sisters, Shirley Murawski, Patricia L. Cholewinski, Joanna Brown, Harriet Romig and Margaret Green.
Carl was a devoted husband, father and grandfather to his three girls (JoAnn, Stacey, and Aliyah). Carl was a Christian man who attended New Song Community Church in Bethel Park. He always took an active role in every aspect of family life. Carl always had a smile on his face, could easily make you laugh, and loved to joke with everyone. He would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Carl was truly a one-of-a-kind man. He was extremely proud of his family and always supported them in their endeavors. Carl will be truly missed by all especially by his wife, daughter, and granddaughter.
Friends will be received on Saturday, January 8th and Sunday, January 9th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday. January 10th at 2 P.M. in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
