Carl W. Brown, Jr., age 66, of Finleyville, born and raised on the South Side of Pittsburgh, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 5, 2022. Carl is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, JoAnn M. Brown; daught Read Obituary
Carl was such a joy to be around. My brother and I worked near his stand at Shaker Woods. He always found a way to make us smile! To Carl's wonderful family, we are so very sorry for your loss. We are thankful to have gotten to know this extraordinary man. Aaron & Ashton Hinchliffe.

Carl and JoAnn took Aliyah and I (Taylor) to Idlewild Hallowboo and we were watching the dancers on stage and he looks at Aliyah and I and says I am not going up there to dance. The costumed witches came over and took him onto the stage and made him dance. It was such an amazing moment and something I will forever remember. He was one of the greatest man I have ever come across. A truly beautiful soul filled with so much love.

Many wonderful memories with Carl \"Sonny\" Brown growing up in South Side. A true friend who we lost contact with many years ago. Carl was my brother Eric's best friend when we were growing up and we would play for hours on end in St. John School yard. My brother and I are deeply saddened by His passing. He will be missed but always remembered for the wonderful friend he was. May God Rest His Soul and open the gates of heaven, take him in and cherish him as we have here on earth. RIP my friend!
My Best memory with Carl was a time when I visited him during a craft show he was involved with & he was taking a break & sitting in the back, he told me to have the girls make me a lemonade & then we sat there for about 20 minutes or so talking about our grandkids. We had in common the love & devotion of family, he was like a Big Brother to me, I knew that he was Only a phone call away, NO questions asked. God Bless you & I'll see you later ❤ Lisa Finnigan 🥂
