May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.
With my Dad and his sister only 10 months apart, he commented that he hated that their classmates thought he and his sister were twins. He picked on her when she was little, but when they were older they became such great friends. My Dad loved her to pieces. And because of that love, our families got together frequently to share holidays and vacations. My Aunt Barbara helped created five of my most favorite human beings on the planet and subsequently has left a beautiful legacy in their families. I am grateful to my father and Aunt Barbara and their siblings Jack, Rich and Bob, for granting all of us cousins the very best childhood filled with love and so much laughter. Love you so much, Aunt Barb. Thrilled you are in Paradise and look forward to hugging you again.
Couldn’t have asked for a better second mother while growing up. Thank you for treating me like one of your own. Godspeed mom Laux. You will always be in my heart.
Luv you, Shelly
All our love from the Eldridge family.
Deepest sympathies to the entire Laux family and especially Mr. Laux (Darrell). Barbara's legacy is firmly cast in the family that she and Darrell created, influenced and molded. Job very well done. Chris and I were introduced to the Laux family after John moved in as our neighbor on Churchview many years ago and we became good friends. We have since been welcomed at many family parties, we have hunted and fished together (John, Darrell, Little John and Derek), our daughter Marissa and Derek graduated college together, we’ve had a few beverages together and generally enjoyed each other’s company for a long time. It has been our distinct pleasure to get to know many of you over the years. You are good people and further testament to Barbara’s legacy. Ray and Chris Lutz.
Dawn Zeke and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. Please let me know if you need anything. Take care. Love Jen Ainslie and Duncan
Deepest sympathies from our family to yours. Aunt Barb will be greatly missed and always in our hearts. We love you!
My sister, Barb, and I intimately shared over 79 years of our lives in so many ways. Born only ten months and nine days apart, we were classmates as we pursued our education together in grade school and high school and participated together in faith upbringing, and many extracurricular and family activities. Her excellent choice of soul mate, Darry Laux, rewarded her 61 years of wedded life filled with love, five terrific kids, challenges, travels, fun, adventures and laughter. She was an integral part of our immediate and expanded family of Lauritzens, Synans, Holmses, Kings, Lauxes, Hasses, Zabowskis, Schmidts, Pollicks, Buettners, Swains, Lanes, Zimaneks, Blochers, McShanes, Dolmans, Amorosos, and many more in the lineage, plus friends beyond enumeration. We all loved her and we will miss her, but we will always fondly remember her. Importantly, her Christian faith gives us peace, because we know that she will reside in the final home promised to her by her Lord Jesus. God speed, Dear Sister! - Tom Lauritzen
