To Gina, Gabe, and Andy, when I think of your dad it is his sense of humor and his energy that come to mind immediately. I've fond memories of him (and your whole family) as our neighbor. I am so sorry for your loss and hope that when you remember him it is with a smile and a laugh. In Loving Memory.
My most vivid memories are of “Coach Galioto” from the PHARA midget football days of my youth. Of course we knew him as Andy’s dad but for 10 weeks in the fall on Mowry 4 he was Coach. He and Mr Kugel had the unenviable task of keeping 50+ fourteen year olds, who knew everything about everything, focused and resembling a football team. He challenged us to be better players and better people. I thank him for that and frankly wished I had listened more! As an adult with my own family, I had the pleasure to call him a neighbor on Old Clairton Rd and we’d see each other walking a few days a week. Always with a smile on his face and wise crack to share. He will be missed. Best to Andy, Gina, Gabe and your families.
