During my first year with Penn State Club Swim, I had the privilege of meeting and sharing a lane with Amy. Every practice with Amy was filled with so much happiness and love which made the late night practices better. I always felt like I had someone who was constantly smiling next to me and always radiating such good energy. We went through hard practices together and I always looked forward to congratulating her towards the end. I wanted to express my deepest condolences to Amy's family.

I had the privilege of swimming with Amy this past year on club swim. I swam in a lane with Amy every practice and her infectious positivity pushed me to be better every day. Amy was so kind and always looking out for everyone around her. In the short time I knew her, I could tell Amy had such a love for life.

Amy and I attended USC together, but it was not until we both started working at the rec center that I got to know her. She was the kindest person I have ever met. She was not just a coworker but a friend that always made a shift there better. I always admired her for all of her various passions and how driven she was. Though it is her kindness that is what has always stuck with me. It was unconditional and persistent. I was amazed someone like that existed. I miss her everyday at work, but try to carry her kindness and memory with me. The rec center will never feel the same without her, but her impact there and on my life will continue forever.

Amy was one of the first women I worked with in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Amy and I had some very silly rolls in BJJ when we would move in slow motion or we would shout “hug!” Any time we grabbed each other. Amy was so kind and funny any time I talked with her. She was a treasure and will be missed forever. ❤️

Amy was one of my favorite jiu-jitsu girlfriends. I enjoyed training with her and she was always a light to be around. I loved watching her grow through jiu-jitsu and school. Our ladies group will not be the same without her. She will be sorely missed by every one of us.

Amy was one of the first people I met in Volé when I came to college. Amy never faltered to put a smile on my face and give encouraging comments during rehearsal. She was such a joy to be around and I always loved watching her dance. I so am glad that our paths crossed and I got to experience her light.
