Aunt Yevonne
My Godmother
One of my mother's best friends on earth.
I remember you were watching us when my parents brought Justin home. I think we were playing Mousetrap! 🙂
You always felt like the most important person in the world during a conversation with her. Truly one of the sweetest people I've ever known.
Thank you for living your life in such a Christ-like way. What an example to all.
Rest in peace Aunt Yevonne
I love you
Phillip John (she always called me that)
Yvonne snd Bud were neighbors of my parents, Bsrb&Lou Gurecka from Jefferson Pointe. As my parents aged, became ill and passed in 2018 and 2021, Yvonne was very supportive to our family. She checked on my parents, helped to coordinate food from church friends before funerals. Our prayers are with Bud and her family.

My stepmother, Yvonne and my father threw wonderful, thoughtful and fun Christmas get togethers. She created a memorable giddy-silly game that we looked forward to every year. I can't imagine the time and effort that went into making one magical day just that..magical. I am so grateful to her for the hours she spent making it possible for me to spend time with all my children and grandchildren at one time. And she knew that's really all I wanted for Christmas. Not that she made the day for just me, I believe every family member left with the same feeling. The day also consisted of her homemade chicken noodle soup, with homemade noodles, of course. Along with a spread of food that covered every taste choice. Thank you, Yvonne, for so many Christmases. Your loving stepdaughter, Cindy
