Mrs. Kraus was very kind to me when I was growing up and during my adult years when we were both working out at King's Gym. I remember taking my swimming test when she was a lifeguard at Brentwood Pool and treading water while she watched me from the lifeguard chair.
Wilma was a beloved member of Brentwood High School class of 1948 and a dedicated alumni. She was a founding member of the Brentwood alumni association and she helped plan the all class annual alumni luncheons and sang the national anthem at those luncheons. Wilma will be missed by her classmates and friends. Rest in eternal peace Wilma.
