William J. Picchi's Obituary
William J. Picchi, 69, of Bethel Park, PA. passed away on April 19, 2025.
William is survived by his daughters Melissa (David) Merkle, Shaena (Anthony) Smith, Alayna Picchi, Samantha (Braeden) Harris and Madison Picchi; grandchildren Rylee and Kian Merkle, Roman and Scarlett Smith and Kehlani Marenco Picchi; brother Paul (Marianne) Picchi; and his nieces. He is predeceased by his parents Alarico and Edith Picchi.
William's love for his children and grandchildren was boundless, as he cherished them all tremendously and lived his life for them. Time spent with them were the highlights of his life, and his legacy will endure with the moments and lessons that will always be remembered.
His absence at the ball field will be deeply felt, for it was there that William's spirit shone brightest. William lived, breathed and talked baseball with whoever would listen; even scheduling his day around Pirate games to ensure he wouldn't miss a second.
William Picchi will be dearly missed, but his joyous love for the game and his family will forever resonate in the hearts of those he cherished.
Friends and family will be received from 10am-4pm on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Funeral Service will be held at 4pm following visitation in the funeral home chapel.
