William J. Kling's Obituary
William J. Kling, age 88, of Pittsburgh PA, formerly of Hattiesburg MS, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 6, 2021.
William is survived by his beloved daughters, Karen M. Kling Voytko and Kathy J. Kling; grandson, Justin Voytko; his siblings, Gail Dubose, Rosi Johnson and Robert Kling; Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by loving wife, Patricia Laverne Kling, and his parents his Ben Kling and Willie Bell McGee.
Kling served in the Castle Shannon fire department for over 50 years. He did many events including the Castle Shannon Carnival and Gun Bash. He loved to scuba dive and was as instructor at Splash. Kling was a wealth of knowledge and loved to share stories of his childhood in Mississippi and scuba diving. He always gave good advice. He retired after a long career at General Motors. He and his wife loved to entertain and had big parties where many friends gathered.
