William J. Jones' Obituary
My Beloved husband, William J. Jones, entered into the Kingdom of God, in the arms of Jesus... on May 11, 2025, after a long battle with complex chronic illness.
Bill was a humble, quiet, thoughtful, kind and intelligent man who loved his Lord Jesus. He was devoted to his Catholic faith and was active in the Catholic church all of his life.
He had a delightful sense of humor.
Bill had no anxiety during his long illness. He trusted his Lord to sustain him. He never once complained about his illness. So strong, in every way. That was who he was.... a non-complainer. Always optimistic about everything. Could tolerate lots of discomfort.
Bill was a happy person and enjoyed living.
He loved old and modern classical music and composers. He was well versed on their works. He had a deep singing voice...in the church choir and singing Irish songs.
Bill was an avid reader....read hundreds of books and kindle books, on many venues.
Bill was born to the late William J. Jones and Alice Lacey Jones on January 30, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA.
Beloved Husband to Nancy Cowan Jones for the past 23 years.
Beloved brother to Patricia Jones Kantor (husband Harry) and Jack Jones.
Uncle to nephews Steve Kantor (wife Lorene) and Dan Kantor, and to
nieces, Lacey Kantor and Alison Jones.
I will Love you forever, My Sweet Bill....
See you in Heaven, my Love
