Willard Howard Patterson, known as Pat to most, age 92, passed away on February 25, 2020 at Jefferson Hospital surrounded by family. He was the husband of Audrey Gail Patterson. They shared 63 years together.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Willard and Elizabeth Patterson. He was a Private in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He was employed at National Tube Works as a Steel Worker. He was a member of Wilson Presbyterian Church and How Great Thou Art was his favorite hymn.
He is survived by his wife Gail, his four children, Sue and Jay Goldie, Howard Patterson, Tammy and Rick Poorman and Amy and Tom Baker, 11 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15236. The visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
