Walter Lebetz, age 92, of South Park, formerly of Elrama, PA, passed away on July 15, 2021. Walter is survived by his children, Donna (Jeff) Jaskolka and Walter Alan (Michelle) Lebetz; grandchildren, Jennifer Krantosky, Steven Le Read Obituary

When Walter passed, Steven and I were on our way to visit him. Sadly, we got the call that he had passed 5 minutes before we got there. Here are some photos from our last visit a couple of weeks ago.
One of my favorite memories of my grandfather was when he taught me to shoot a BB gun in the basement. He would make targets for my brother and I and we would have target practice. I would usually get 10/10 and he would say “oh we have an Annie Oakley here!” Recently within the past month, I took my son, Alexander, over his friend’s house where we shot his friend’s BB gun. As I hit the target 4/5 times, Alexander stood there watching with his mouth dropped open. “How are you so good at this?” he said. I proudly looked at him and said “my pap taught me.” Since then, Alexander has acquired my boyfriend’s childhood BB gun and has another smaller one on the way from Amazon. I am happy to say that I can cherish this time with my son because of this great man, Walter Lebetz. I’m sure he will be watching down on us, smiling, while we have our own target practice.
