Walter F Hajduk Sr.'s Obituary
Walter Hajduk Sr. passed away peacefully on June 13, 2021 at the age of 99 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Catherine. Walter is survived by his two sons and their wifes, Walter Jr.(Madeliene) and Thomas (Linda) Hajduk. He will be sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great,great-grandson. He fought in WW II, and participated in 3 land invasions, last of which was Okinawa April 1, 1945. After the war he returned to work at Bethlehem Steel and later retired at the age of 56. He spent the next 43 years in retirement enjoying the fruits of his labor.
