Virginia "Ginny" C. Cullen's Obituary
Virginia C. "Ginny" Cullen, age 74, of Scott Township, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2020.
Ginny is survived by her many beloved friends, including her close friends, Sue and Terry Cooper; as well as her child of the heart, Collin Cooper; and her godson, Brandon Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William B. and Gertrude M. Cullen; as well as her brother, Richard Cullen.
Ginny was a proud graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where she earned three degrees. She loved to visit campus and always made sure to visit The Creamery. Ginny was proudly employed as a music teacher at Baldwin-Whitehall School District for 30 years. She had a saving faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, as well as her Prayer Group where she made many friends of the heart. Ginny especially loved to volunteer with Campus Life, as well as contributing to many, many charities. She had a favorite "watering hole", Armstrong's Express in Bridgeville, whose staff she dearly loved and benefited from Ginny's trips to The Creamery. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 2 PM on Friday, November 13th 2020 at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Memorial Service will follow at the nicheside in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to a charity of your choosing, in Ginny's memory.
