Vincent 'Vince' Kachik, Jr.'s Obituary
Vincent Kachik Jr. passed away on April, 20, 2026, in Pittsburgh, PA. Vince is survived by his mother Barara Westfall, sister Elizabeth Shultz, brother James Kachik (Sue), brother Barry Kachik (Janice), daughters Anna Jacobs (Joe) and Jessica Putnak (Chris), ex-wife Patty Kachik, and 10 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Vincent Kachik Sr. and his sister Cynthia Kachik (Barbara).
In his younger days, Vince was an avid fisherman and enjoyed bow hunting. He was part of a bowling league, with his highest score being 298. He also very much liked playing pool. He was a huge Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan. More recently, he became fond of golf. He was very into nature. He loved birds and fish. He always had at least one fish tank and had a parakeet named Spiderman. Vince was a very good artist, whether it was paint, charcoal, pen or pencil. He won a few awards from Sweetwater in Sewickley, PA.
In 2003, he received his Associates Degree in Drafting and Design. After graduation, he moved to Atlanta, GA, we he got a job with 84 Lumber. He was there for a number of years before returning to Florida and settling back in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.
A memorial service for Mr Vincent Kachik will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Father Levi officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer plants if possible.
