Vincent Chiappini's Obituary
Vincent Chiappini, age 95, of West Mifflin, formerly of Clairton, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on November 29, 2020.
Vincent is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Dot Chiappini; children, JoAnn (Bob) Wiesen and Jim "Chip" D. (Margie Sturak) Chiappini; grandchildren, Erica (Jon) Wiesen Orie and Evan Wiesen; great-granddaughter, Sophia Orie; sister, Armenia (the late Paul) Sikorski; sister-in-law, Jean Chiappini; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florindo and Josephine Chiappini; and his brother, Fabio Pio Chiappini.
Vincent served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII with the 89th Bomb Squad 3rd Attach Group South Pacific as a crew chief/gunner and achieved the rank of Sergeant.
He retired from the Union Railroad and ran a concrete and excavation business.
Vincent was well known for his comical antics and enjoying his homemade wine while gathering with friends and family.
Anyone who knew Vincent will know how much he will be missed by all.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 2nd from 4-8 P.M. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
A Blessing Service will be held on December 3rd at 10 A.M. in the funeral home chapel.
